WELCOME TO THE HOME OF CYCLE RACING IN THE SHOALHAVEN
Nowra Velo Club 2024 Annual General Meeting.
The NVC’s 2024 AGM will be held on April 17that the Nowra School of Arts annex starting at 7 pm. (Berry St Nowra)
Doors will be open from 6.30 am.
The immediate an ongoing future of the club may well depend on this meeting.
At least two of the current committee have indicated they may not stand for their current positions at the election of the club committee.
Do you want an active club into the future?
If you are concerned for the function of the club, if and where we may be racing beyond 2024, this your chance to understand what is required from the working officials of the club.
To fill any vacant positions on the club, an ongoing commitment and regular attendance is required.
Please give thought to how you can assist with keeping the club as an active unit. If not as a member of the committee or official position, then as an active participant on race days with traffic control, trailer transport, etc.
Reserve the date, come along and support your club.
2023 AGM Minutes
The Nowra Velo Club is the home of cycle racing in the Shoalhaven district on the NSW South Coast.
New members are always welcome and regular rides are run that cater for most levels of interest. Coaching is available by contacting the Club.
The Shoalhaven area provides a great choice of roads from the farm flats along the Shoalhaven River to the numerous beaches along the coast to Jervis Bay.
There is a choice of hilly rides around the picturesque Kangaroo Valley as well as the rolling hills between the flat coastal plain and the mountains.
The Club conducts regular road race events including handicaps, graded scratch races and criterium events most Sundays.
